As a dedicated landscaping stone business, Best Mexican Beach Pebbles attends several of the leading industry trade shows each year. We are regular exhibitors at MANTS (the Mid-Atlantic Nursery Trade Show) held in Baltimore, we also attend the IGC (Independent Garden Center Show) in Chicago, and the NLGS (the National Lawn and Garden Show) in St. Louis, MO, is also on our radar.
Landscaping and nursery trade shows are a great opportunity to meet some of our valued customers in person, discuss their needs and our latest beach pebble product offerings, as well as to meet many prospective customers and other industry leaders. Today the landscape pebble market is flooded with questionable vendors who claim to sell genuine Mexican beach pebbles. However, not all pebbles are created the same. In particular, the cheaper river rock that can be sourced at many locations within the U.S. is often marketed as Mexican beach pebbles. However, these are two different classes of stone and not comparable: true Mexican beach pebbles are smooth, rounded or oval, with no broken edges, uniform in color, and naturally polished by the incessant ocean waves. Many unscrupulous sellers also pass on imported stone from Asia as Mexican beach pebbles, including fake “polished” pebbles (which are not truly tumble polished but instead coated with an undisclosed sealer or wax).

Some of you may have noticed that our President and CEO had to cut short his stay at the recent IGC landscaping and garden show in Chicago.
