Have a Warm and Cozy 4th of July!

Mixed river rock and beach pebble fire pit with a grill

What is your favorite way to celebrate the birth of our nation? Do you like to relax at the beach with family and friends? Host a backyard BBQ? Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show? Or travel near or far for a memorable summer road trip? Whichever is your favorite Independence Day activity, we at Best Mexican Beach Pebbles wish you a relaxing, soul-refreshing, and very fun 4th of July.

Our ideal way to celebrate Independence Day is simple: family and friends, a fire pit, plenty of snacks and great food, laughter and warmth under the starry San Diego skies. Of course, our fire pit is river rock inspired and filled with our very own Mexican beach pebbles. This is a perfect solution for our Southern California draoght-stricken area. Here fire safety always comes first, and any live fire has to be properly contained.

Read on to fiond out the components of our ideal 4th of July celebration:

A Beach Pebble Fire Pit

Fire pits come in a variety of shapes and structures: from simple round rings, to resistant fire pits, to artistic table-top bonfire creations. We prefer to keep things simple and use a round fire pit that is deep enough to hold either coals or dry firewood. The bottom of the pit is lined with beach pebbles. This enhances the safety, and also provides an aesthetic element when the fireplace is not in use.

An added benefit of using pebble stone in our fire pit is the neat fact that these rocks warm up as the fire flickers away. The warm stones can be removed and used as warming rocks once the night sets in and temperatures drop. These are exactly the same stones that your massage therapist uses if you’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing a hot stone pebble massage.

Lights and Firecrackers

What is a 4th of July celebration without fireworks? Depending on which part of the country you live in, you could really light up the nightly skies. We have to admit that we envy our Florida, Texas, and New England friends and customers a bit when it comes to fireworks. Our San Diego – Los Angeles location has the best weather, but summer dryness dictates a strict fire safety code.

However, our beach pebble team is always creative and finds ways to enhance the ambience by using a variety of string lights, firecrackers, poppers, and sparklers. Who said fireworks have to be giant for all to have massive fun?

Food and Snacks, and Lots of Beach Pebble Friends

We are big on good food, and Independence Day parties are always a reason to go all-out. Fire-roasted corn cobs, s’mores, juicy burgers, hot dogs, and roast veggies are must-have classics. Kids go even further and fire-roast almost anything. How about some nicely burned (sorry – roasted) pineapple, watermelon, or cereal-coated ice-cream balls?

And since we are a Mexican beach pebble company, our table includes a lot of goodies from the South of the border. How about some carne asada, guacamole, salsa, and fiery roasted jalapenos? Add a good selection of the famous San Diego craft beer. And now you are all set for a lovely 4th of July evening.

Happy Independence Day to all our friends, supporters, customers, and partners!

Very truly yours,

Best Mexican Beach Pebbles family
