New Pebble Beaches in Mexico -Plenty of Red, Black, Buff, and White Pebble Stones

This week we have been busy exploring some of the most beautiful, serene, and completely remote pebble beaches in Baja California, Mexico. These beaches are truly pristine – there are no developments nearby, no towns, no villages, no highways, and no agriculture. Only an occasional fisherman and a lot of wildlife. During the right season, it is quite easy to spot dolphins, whales, and a variety of large fishes just offshore. Get in a boat, and you will see even more amazing sea creatures in their natural habitat.

What brings us to remote beaches in Baja California? We are always in search for new sources of Mexican beach pebbles. Each beach has different wave, slope, and bluff characteristics, and each beach is littered with a different mix of pebbles. For example, some beaches have predominantly grey and black beach pebbles, while others are much lighter in color with white, buff, and cream-toned stones dominating the landscape. We also look for green and red pebbles to round out our offerings.

Red Beach Pebbles – Burgundy Landscaping Pebbles

Our latest beach acquisitions are especially great for mining red (burgundy) Mexican beach pebbles. These beaches are rich in various shades of red pebbles ranging from pink and salmon colors to deep burgundy red stones. Normally red pebbles are the most difficult to find, which is why we are very excited to have found our new pebble beaches. If you are interested in purchasing red/ burgundy pebbles for your landscaping project, please contact us to discuss the details.

Collecting Mexican Beach Pebbles – Environmental Protections

Many of our customers like to know that Mexico has a range of protective measures in place to protect its beach and ocean ecosystems. First, nobody can purchase oceanfront land out right, which guards against ad-hoc residential development projects. In addition, no machinery of any type is allowed at the beaches. This means that we literally collect our beach pebbles by hand, one-by-one. These regulations serve a dual purpose: they protect the ocean and wildlife from oil and gas pollution, and they also ensure that at least some jobs will be created to benefit the local people.

A third benefit for our pebble / river rock customers is that the by-hand pebble collection process allows us to also fill unique custom orders. We can pick pebbles of certain size and color shade just for your landscaping, hardscaping, or interior decoration project. During the one-by-one collection process, our workers inspect each pebble stone to ensure that each pebble is smooth and rounded. We do not collect broken stones, and we do not pick deformed pebbles. All our Mexican beach pebbles are smooth, rounded, and of uniform size – features that immediately distinguish Mexican beach pebbles from its distant cousin river rock.
